Hi nerds,

Do you remember James Patterson? The legend on the back of many books on your parents shelves? He's a prolific Mystery & Thriller writer AND an outstanding literary citizen. Every year he donates $300,000 to support independent booksellers and gift them with a holiday bonus. This year he is also awarding ten bookstores a $5,000 bonus.

Some of you may remember our fabulous teen bookseller Milka. They we're actually the recipient of the award in 2024 and used the money towards their first year of college in NYC.

I nominate all of my booksellers each year and customers are also able to nominate us. If CJ Alberts, River Foxford, Joe Alberts, or Luke Fox (you need our full names to nominate lol) at Sunny's has impacted you in any meaningful way, please feel free to nominate us for this bonus. $500 is incredible but a $5,000 award for the store itself would be life changing. We desperately need adequate fixtures.

Thank you for your consideration. The form is here and open until 10/29: https://form.jotform.com/262385106292154

Love you! Mean it!

CJ
